Hey, Sea Girl! 🌺

As you already know, our work is special — handmade with hours and hours of dedication, care, and love. So, to ensure that our creations stay beautiful, vibrant, and undamaged, here are our essential care tips:

🌺 Wash and rinse your pieces by hand, with great delicacy.

🌺 Wash items separately in room temperature water, just as it comes from the tap. Water above 40°C (104°F) can shrink the crochet and make it lose its shine.

🌺 Powder detergent is too harsh for the delicate crochet fibers. Use only mild soap. Do not bleach. Do not soak or wring. Gently press out excess water instead.

🌺 Lay your pieces flat to dry on a towel, either on a table or a floor rack. Avoid hanging them on a regular clothesline — they can stretch or become misshapen. Do not use clothespins, as they leave marks.

🌺 Avoid drying in direct sunlight. Sunlight fades colors and weakens the fibers. This tip is very important!

🌺 Try not to use an iron, but if needed, use it on the lowest setting, up to 110°C (230°F), and always place a heat-resistant cloth over your crochet piece before ironing.

🌺 Handmade items should not be hung on hangers. The stitches can stretch and lose their shape. Instead, fold and store in a drawer or on a shelf — but only after they’re fully dry.

🌺 Store folded inside out, using our packaging or wrapped in tissue paper. This helps protect from dust and preserves the fibers.

🌺 Worn it? Wash it. Avoid storing your pieces dirty. Dirt clings to the fibers, and later washing won’t fully clean them.

🌺 And finally, wearing also requires care. Jewelry, bag straps — especially chain-style ones — can snag the threads and damage your piece. Avoid spraying perfume directly on it, as it may cause stains.
